The placemats and napkins feature "my" colors -- dark red, gold, and green. My dining room is red, and my living room includes all of those colors. As I was adding these photos, I realized I've used these gold dinner plates from Pier 1 in several recent tablescapes. Oh, well, gold is a fall color, right?
I added some dark red salad plates from Target, and my silver is Lunt Belvedere. I still love it, after almost 38 years!
Here's a view of the whole table. My husband brought home the "right" color of alstroemeria from HEB without any prompting!
Here's a closer look at the centerpiece. I arranged the flowers in a wonderful painted metal urn that my in-laws gave me several years ago.
Here's a closeup of the design. I love the detailed insects and the little feet!
Here's another view of the whole table. To complement the gold trim on the urn, I used my tall brass candlesticks.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you will leave a comment before you leave to visit all the wonderful tablescapes at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch!
Am I the first? Well, that's fun. I love *your* colors here. I have the gold and green in my dining room, and I have been wanting to incorporate that red in my kitchen. Your table setting works as an inspiration piece for me!

ReplyDeleteYour fall tablescape is lovely. I had to smile when I read your comment in my post. You really liked the green touches...my friends and I always laugh that they are 'green girls', and I'm a 'blue' girl. They always comment, too, when I use green in my designs. I love the red tole container. That's a very nice piece. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay

ReplyDeleteYour tablescape is very nicely done. It is simple yet smart looking. I also like to see the top of tables (some open space) since it is very Zen. Thank you for coming by my blog and leaving a comment. Hope to see you back again.

Hi Tricia...
ReplyDeleteMy friend, your "Falling Leaves" autumn table is simply gorgeous! Ohhh...those Vera table placemats and dinner napkins are fabulous! Ahhh...red, green, and gold...my favorite autumn colors! Hmmm, come to think of it...they are my favorite "all time" colors! Hehe! My home is done in the same color scheme. My living room, dining room, and kitchen have an open floor plan...deep red, olive green, and gold are used throughout these rooms! I also love that large red urn...it makes for the perfect centerpiece for your beautiful autumn table! I just giggled when I read "HEB". I am in Colorado now but lived in south Texas for 30 yrs. I still call the grocery store that I shop at here...HEB's. My honey always looks at me with a puzzled look. Hehe! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful table with us today...this was such a treat!!!
I also wanted to thank you for stopping by and taking a peek at my "autumn tablescape in a basket"! I enjoyed your visit and sweet note, my friend! Thank you!!!
