The entryway table includes a basket of potted mums that will look better (I hope!) when the flowers are fully open.
Across from the entryway, is the dining room. Here's the sideboard, with some ceramic pumpkins that hold candles.
Come on into the living room. I've added a small pumpkin and some gourds to my lantern and topiaries. I love the star-shaped gourds!
Opposite the fireplace is the sofa table, which holds a large real pumpkin inside a fall berry wreath from Pier 1. The candlesticks are also from Pier 1.
Moving into the kitchen, here's the baker's rack with some seasonal pieces. The lowest shelf includes an old blue metal roaster of Grandma Rachel's filled with wicker pumpkins I've had for years, as well as some wooden ghosts from Pier 1 (I should own stock!). .
The top shelf holds an orange pitcher and some of my everyday dishes, Mikasa Windsor Park. I like blue and orange together, as you can tell! The middle shelf holds a fall village scene. Arranging the fall and Christmas village scenes was always my son's job, but now that he's grown and living far away, I decided to take a turn!
Thanks for stopping by! Now go check out some great tabletops at Marty's Table Top Tuesday at A Stroll Thru Life.

ReplyDeleteOh how lovely. From the urns at the front walk to every room in the house. I love all of your different pumpkins and gourds. I especially love that you use the blue enamel roaster to hold some pumpkins. I have my mom's and never thought of using it for display. I love the look. Your village is fabulous. I also love blue and orange, so this is all perfect to me. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty

All of your Falleness looks wonderful! I'm so silly. I was looking and looking for grandma's rooster on your baker's rack. Then I went back and read that you said 'roaster'! :) Love your every day dishes, too.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love your fall decor. The cutout white pumpkin candleholders are great. All the decorations look classy well done. One can tell you have the touch. I look forward to browsing through your blog. The name of your blog and your explanation is hilarious. I love that!
ReplyDeleteThank you for following my blog. I am so excited but I am getting nervous about responding. I have to figure out a way to do this methodically. I am afraid I will forget someone. I published the blog while I was visiting in Illinois and Tennessee. We were on the road home today and I am having a hard time remembering to whom I responded. If you have a foolproof method please share. Thank you so much, Hugs, Ginger
